Cholla wood- A natural hide perfect for shrimp! Cholla wood also will release slight tannins into your water, helping lower the pH and provide your tank with natural antibacterial properties!  Lastly, it provides nutrients for your shrimp to graze on! Do not place into tanks with fish or snails small enough to fit inside of the wood, they can and will get stuck!
Alder Cones-Alder cones are a great addition to your aquarium, providing natural antibacterial and antifungal properties! Making these cones great for breeding fish and hatching out eggs without having to sweat as much over your eggs gaining fungus! They also lower pH and will grow a delicious biofilm perfect for shrimp to graze on. We, at M & D's, personally ALWAYS use alder cones for hatching out our eggs and have a great success rate!
