Alder cones are a great addition to your aquarium, providing natural antibacterial and antifungal properties! Making these cones great for breeding fish and hatching out eggs without having to sweat as much over your eggs gaining fungus! They also lower pH and will grow a delicious biofilm perfect for shrimp to graze on. We, at M & D's, personally ALWAYS use alder cones for hatching out our eggs and have a great success rate!
